SO, it was our job to produce a 15-minute film complete with studio reconstructions, flashback sequences, Bollywood-esque dance scenes and area managers hamming it up all in the style of the film - on a pretty minimal corporate video budget.
Cinema 4d backdrops and lighting systems taking shape...
Presenter doing his best Chris Tarrant
The fact that this project was so graphics-intensive and fun made it one of my favourite projects at Popkorn, as I got to call the shots to an extent and mix up lots of techniques like DIY chroma-key work, Cinema 4D modelling for the backgrounds, and fairly complex particle systems to achieve the look the client was going for. I guess it was a little less visually creative than some others, since I was simply aiming to recreate the look of the film (or the TV quiz show it's based on), but there was so much geeky problem-solving and creative thinking involved that it really got me going!
